Dear Parishioners & Friends,
It was again a deeply spiritual and heart-felt experience in sharing Holy Week with you. There are some parts of the services during those holy days which just make one's heart jump out: the procession with the Eucharist around the Church on Holy Thursday (giving me the feeling I had as a grade school student, processing through the city streets of North Tonawanda with the Eucharist in the Monstrance on May Day); parishioners approaching the Cross on Good Friday, with noticeable grief in their eyes and hearts; singing the words of the Exodus of God's People as they marched through the desert (Easter Vigil Service), and our singing together: "Horse and chariot are cast into the sea," and the stirring "Alleluia Chorus" from Handel's Messiah on Easter morning.
Thank you to Father Aaron, all the staff, volunteers and the music ministries for their work in decorating the church and decorating the Wednesday, April 14, 2021 services with such beauty. We continue this spirit on into the Easter Season.
Love & Prayers,
